New EU Course on Citizen Engagement – in Collaboration with Democracy X
How do you design an effective citizen engagement process? And how do you ensure that this engagement actually makes a difference?
The European Commission is now launching a brand-new course on citizen engagement and deliberative processes—developed and delivered in collaboration with Democracy X.
This course is particularly relevant for all of you who work in municipalities or in public administration and who wish to draw on our many years of experience in developing and facilitating citizen engagement. Here, you’ll gain the latest tools for planning, implementing, and embedding engagement processes in practice.
Practical information:
- The course is free and certified by the EU Academy
- It is offered at three levels: Basic, Advanced, and Train-the-Trainers
- The course combines self-study with interactive live sessions
The first Danish course begins on October 1, 2025.
This course is a unique opportunity to become part of a European learning journey, meet some of the world’s leading experts in the field—and help make citizen engagement a core competency in the public administrations of the future. The three levels ensure that there is something that fits you and your organization perfectly. Please note that the Train the Trainers level is conducted in English, while the other levels are offered in Danish.
