Join us for a breakfast meeting on AI in the workplace

How can we create favorable conditions for the development and successful implementation of AI in the workplace? We invite all interested stakeholders to engage in dialogue and shared reflection on how we can take the lead in shaping this development through collaboration, participation, and inclusion.

With the implementation of AI, we are moving toward a labor market where the vast majority of us will be affected and our working lives will change. It is important that we, as a society, engage in a broad dialogue that can help set the direction and ensure healthy development and favorable conditions.

That is why Democracy x is hosting a breakfast meeting on September 3 to discuss AI in the workplace.

We invite all interested stakeholders to engage in dialogue and shared reflection on how we can take the lead in shaping this development through collaboration, participation, and inclusion. The morning will feature inspiring presentations, plenary discussions, and time for networking and informal conversation.

Listen to presentations on:

  • Employees’ views on reliable AI in their work, based on findings from the ongoing EU project THEMIS 5.0, which offers insights into employees’ preferences regarding the development and implementation of AI in three different sectors. The findings show, among other things, that there is consensus across sectors that artificial intelligence should serve as a decision-making aid, that the definition of reliability varies depending on the specific sector, and that employees’ experience with the technology is a key factor in the implementation of artificial intelligence.
Sissel Ladegaard, project manager at Democracy x
  • AI in Nordic Organizations, based on findings from the report of the same name, on how the emergence of AI is changing Nordic organizations’ views on digital transformation
Daniel Honoré Jensen, Project Manager at Mandag Morgen‍
  • Opportunities and Challenges Faced by Employees When Encountering Artificial Intelligence in Their Work Lives
Jeppe Wahl-Brink, Head of Labor Law at the Danish Confederation of Trade Unions

The morning meeting is relevant for you if you:

  • Are you an employee who wants to contribute to a positive, forward-looking discussion about AI in your workplace?—Perhaps the topic is completely new to you, and if not, you can catch up on some of the latest insights on the subject at
  • Just as Democracy x aims to spur debate on how we can collectively take the lead in the implementation of artificial intelligence in our society.

We hope that, together, we can start a conversation about how all relevant stakeholders can contribute to the collective effort to ensure that the development and implementation of AI in the workplace take place in a way that is consistent with the wishes of employees and society.
